About Big Rodent

Joe Gallagher created Big Rodent in 2008 for the purpose of creating more things. Originally titled Joe Gallagher's Giant Rodent, the company began by mounting theatrical productions in New York City, incluing William Shakespeare's Measure for Measure and Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Gildenstern are Dead.

Big Rodent Books published its first title in 2010, and currently publishes the entire Mushroom Cloud Press library of scripts for high school performers, which has been providing teachers & students with low-cost, high quality educational materials since 2000.

Big Rodent Digital and Big Rodent Tactlies are the newest divisions of the company, and both are developing fun new things for you to touch, see, feel, and think about.

Big Rodent is named after the Capybara, the world's largest living species of rodent.
